Dedicated To My Daddy 2

This is a brief story of how "Daddy2"
became Daddy2. *smiles*

In 1980, my real Dad passed away, leaving us totally devestated,
totally lost and feeling like we had no Daddy to guide us through life,
and just a total sense of "wandering through life" without a Father.

In 1985, Mom introduced us to Nolan "Ross" Boatright,Sr., who would become Daddy2. :-)

When I first met him, I saw this big man, with the most beautiful eyes,
biggest heart, and a soft, gentle voice.

He cared enough he felt the need to tell us, he was not in no way
going to try taking our Daddy's place.
I could see in his eyes, he was talking from his heart
and telling us the truth.

He and Mom got married, and he accepted us as his children,
guiding us through life's roads.
He's always there for us when we need advice, when we need
a Father's loving touch and beams with that look of pride
when we accomplished something to be proud of!

Through the years, we've heard stories of him being in WWII,
of him being a decorated true American Hero and awed to have
been able to listen to his speeches at Memorial events,
that just made our hearts swell with pride!

The kindest, gentlelest, most wonderful man you'd never dream of
having the privelege to call Daddy!

Honestly, I couldn't put into words just how much Daddy2 means to me
and how proud I am and so very lucky, to have and have had,
the 2 most wonderful men in my life with the man I call "Daddy 2".
I called him Mr. Ross at first, but through the years,
I came to admire him and love him and gave him the most deserved name,

Daddy2

The "2", not meaning 2nd place as Daddy, but meaning my 2nd Daddy.
He calls us Daughter #1, Daughter #2 and Daughter #3,
not meaning 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in his heart,
but meaning in order of age. *laughs*, I'm Daughter #1. :D

So Daddy2, this website is my dedication to you!
I love you so much and I'm very proud to know you as Daddy!
I hope it makes you feel as proud to be Daddy2
as you have made me, to be Daughter #1!

God truly Blessed us by sending you to us!
