This is Daddy2's Story

He is battling cancer and this is the story of how he found he had it and the treatments, surgery and his daily battle with this awful disease.

In October of 2003, he went for a check-up with no symptoms whatsoever of the outcome of the check-up. He was told he had kidney cancer and it was advanced with little hope of survival. Well, him being the fighter he is, he's proved them wrong!

He went for a second opinion and was told basically the same thing but with shots and a diet, he could possibly get some of the smaller tumors killed and the main tumor shrunk. He took all the shots and it did get rid of the small tumors and shrunk the large one.

He went on to another cancer specialist from Texas Cancer Institute and was told the main tumor could be removed. He underwent the surgery but after the doctor got in there, the tumor had wrapped around 4 major arteries and he had to back out or Daddy could have bled to death on the table.

Needless to say, we were devastated! But, just like him, we never gave up!

Me, my step-brother and sister got him in Greenwood Cancer Clinic where he's now undergoing radiation treatments every day and taking shots directly in the tumor. Also he's on all types of vitamins and a natural food diet.

So far, he's doing great! No side effects from the radiation nor the shots. He's gaining weight and back to his jolly, loving self!.
