To My Sweet Daddy 2

A Poem I Have Written
Especially For You!

You came into our lives, when we needed you most
I know you were sent from God, the Son and Holy Ghost
Not only to help us through losing our Daddy
But to be our second wonderful, loving Daddy

I've told you before and telling you now
I love you so much and always will vow
This horrible disease that you now have
We will get you through it, no matter how!

You've treated us like your own children
Through the good times and the bad,
You've always made me so very happy,
That you are our Dad.

No matter what happens,be it good or bad,
I want you to know how much I love you Dad!

He went back to GCC today and has gained 4 lbs,
but lost 5 lbs off the tumor
which weighed 10 lbs 2 weeks ago!
Thank God!!

11/30/04

He went for a catscan in October and the cancer
has spread to his lungs.
So, radiation treatments were done on his lungs
and in the process, his esophagus was burnt.
But, he finished all the treatments on his lungs
and went back for another catscan last Friday

The news wasn't so good this time.
A tumor was found on his adrenal gland and now
he has to have radiation treatments on that.

The doctor said it would eventually move to his liver,
bones and brain.
It's a fast moving cancer and he had given up,
stopped his meds and shots.
But, he decided he was going to keep fighting
this horrible disease and started back taking
the meds and the shots.

We just pray he doesn't suffer and it doesn't go
to his brain or bones

The doctor wanted him to take chemo,
but the chemo dr. said NO! He'd only be sick
and suffer even more.
She would not do that to him or us.

I'll post more as I know more.

Daddy #2, I love you so much and will stand behind you
no matter what choices you make!

He and Mom went back to Greenwood Monday,
and ohhhhhhhhhh, I'm so happy and so praising!

our Father Who Art In Heaven!
Thank you Lord for answering my prayers
I'm just a mortal human and have many faults,
but You are always there guiding me
and answering my prayers

If it's Your Will! I Thank You soooooooo much!
For watching over Daddy 2 and for helping us through this!

Praise The Lord!!!
The tumor on his kidney has shrunk! The tumor
on his adrenal gland is still there,
but with his treatments, hopefully this one will shrink
or go away completely!

He's doing a lot better, but, just found out this morning,
he's been having trouble seeing when he drives.
It's not the cancer, not the treatments, it's a cateract on his eye!

The VA will be doing laser surgery to correct his vision!
Daddy 2 is living proof that God answers prayers!

on Earth As It Is In Heaven
Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread
As We Forgive Those That Trespass Against Us
And Lead Us Not Into Temptation
